I love my son - I really do, but it is so wonderful to have a night without him. I can actually do my work without having to stop. I had plans for tonight and now that he isn't going to be home, I can actually carry out that plan.
It is truly amazing how much kids can distract you. No wonder it is impossible for teachers to meet their curriculum goals every year. It is the kids fault;-)
Which makes me wonder yet again why I am continuing this mad journey to get into the teaching profession. I am beginning to think that I was repeatedly dropped on my head while young. OH, well - escans here I come!

Saturday class
Well, it was fun making a movie, even with the SSSSLLLLLLOOOOOOWWWWWWWW computer. I think it is something that I will use often if I ever have a library of my own. It seems a great way to put together a quick tutorial on how to use software or hardware and doing a quick orientation for new students and faculty is a must have now.
Btw, the sympathy card was appreciated. I did it quietly and the money goal was met (and exceeded). She was very happy with the thought of getting a book for her dad. So, we did good girls.
